Spidi - Race Vent Racing Motorcycle Gloves
No company knows gloves better than Spidi. As such Spidi has developed two glove patterns for its line. The Sport or Racing gloves feature a snug fit for the utmost in control. On the other hand (like that pun?) the Touring gloves feature a more roomy fit. Either way Spidi has a glove for your needs.
Spidi Gloves-Race Vent
- Constructed of perforated premium Italian top grain leather tanned with aniline to increase softness.
- Keramide reinforced padded palm.
- Titanium fiber protection panels.
- Foam and felt inserts on the side of the hand and
backhand.
- Titanium fiber shield on the side of the hand.
- Dual Velcro wrist closure system.
- Multiple flex areas allow the hand to move freely and avoid fatigue.
- Large air intake vent on the back of the hand backed with a screen.
- Vents on the fingers.
- Reflective Reflex area for safe night riding.
- Padded outer thumb.
- Aniline is a chemical agent (derived from oil), which is used
during the last step of the taning process, when the leather is dyed.
As the dying process causes the leather to get more rigid, the tanning
with aniline helps to limit this effect and to keep the leather
more soft and elastic.

| CE certification is released by a specific ratifying agency in Europe, similiar to the USA DOT and SNELL testing for helmets. The rules are based around characteristics mandated by two different safety standard: EN 16231-1/97 this rule deals with impact protectors, while EN 1621-2/2001 is specifically for the study of dorsal and lumbar protectors. |
